Now that Iran has a hold on the Strait of Hormuz, they have demonstrated that they don't need the nuclear weapon capability.
Turns out they had a non-nuclear nuclear option that either our planners failed to wargame out or, worse, did wargame out and did it on purpose.
Though if they had actually had a nuke this war would never have happened to begin with
